WWA & King of Cable Comp

Friday 18th Sept - I headed to Princes Club, London for the WWA & King of Cable Comp. I entered Junior Men category, as I stood a better chance of being in the King of Cable final... which is a head to head of all the winners of each category.

The runs were straight off the dock and you did one complete circuit of the cable... if you fell you got picked up once. My first run was good but I knew I could have ridden better. I qualified 2nd which I was really pleased with.

Day 2 I had to get up early for the finals, my category went out at mid-day. I was second from last off the dock - I had a good run, including some of my hardest tricks, 313, Tweety and a 7 off the kicker. Everyone rode really sik and it was a close comp .. I came 3rd .. so on the podium but unfortunately not in the King of Cable final. Results here.

After the comp there was a fancy dress party .. I went as a chicken!
We had a great time .. Ash Templeman won dressed as Lego Man.

WakeMK Summer Jam 2009

Congratulations to Nick Davies for winning Summer Jam 2009 with an absolutely awesome run! Lewis Cornwall followed with a close 2nd & Dec Clifford with an amazing 3rd place in the pro mens category. Big thanks to WakeMK for another amazing Summer Jam comp.
